The HI-EB9360W incorporates contemporary art design. Beautiful Autumn leaves theme fused onto modern opague finished tempered-glass. It us uniquely slim just over 1/2 inch in thickness. The Large LCD display is simple to read and you can choose to measure in LBS or KG with a simple switch on the bottom side of the scale. It's the perfect companion to let you monitor your weight loss progress.

Slim, affordable, works

I never heard about the Homeimage brand before, but from my quick research, apparently they make descent kitchen products, including food scales. I guess they're trying to get into other adjacent segments. The reason I brought this up is that I'd want to buy not just a cheap scale, but one from at least a reputable company. My last digital scale broke after about 2 years - every time I step on it, it gives me random reading. It does make my day when my weight is ~30 lbs less, but not when it's the other way around. Anyhow, my point is, I want my next digital scale to last as long as my traditional one.Likes:- The scale is competitively priced.- Cosmetically, it looks well built - yes it's made of glass, but I'm not worried that I'll break it easily. The white and red background with maple leaf ornaments added a nice touch to it.- I was surprised to see how thin the scale is. It's low to the ground, and a tad smaller than other scales I've seen in the market. If you have a larger frame, take this into consideration.- It looks like a scale, and most importantly, it works like a scale!- If I remember correctly, there's a small switch in the back to let you choose the unit (lb/kg).Dislike:- The only thing I don't like about this scale is that it doesn't give me "exact" consistent reading. With my old one, every time I get back on the scale, as long as this is done within the next minute or two, it gave me the exact same reading to the decimal points. Now, I don't know whether there's a programming/logic in the background that tells it to simply show the same reading, but at least it gave me the perception that I know how much I weigh exactly, which is the key advantage of a digital scale. With this one, a lot of times the reading differs by fractions of a pound, sometimes as much as 1 lb. With the low price, I'm not complaining much, as long as I know that I'm within 1 lb range, I can live with it.Other consideration:- I've seen 2 types of LCD/display on digital scales - one with background light (usually blue), and without. This falls into the later category. The drawback is, you can't see the display in the dark. But I'd imagine this adds to the battery life too.Good luck with your research and purchase!

Not the Best

This scaled is inaccurate. You can weigh yourself three times in a row and get three different readings. After a week mine started turning on by itself and then would not turn on when I would try to use it. Now it just won't turn on at all. Would have tried to return it but had thrown away the box.
